So what will I learn?
Become a better all round trail rider!
You'll learn:
- Proper riding positions - when to stand and when to sit.
- Bike setup and simple maintenance.
- How to use both brakes properly.
- Line selection - don't just follow like a sheep.
- Learn slow riding techniques.
- Hill recovery techniques.
- Learn clutch and throttle control.
- Slow wheelies and jumping logs on the trail.
At the end of the day we give you a hands on demo of how to fix a flat on your own bike, We also go over tools to carry in your bum bag and spares etc, some emergency gear that could help get you home.
Our coaching includes plenty of demonstrations followed by time to practice your new skills and personalised instruction until you feel confident.
What level of riding do I need to be at?
We run coaching clinics to suit all levels of rider ability from novice through to those who are getting back into the sport and have existing ability.
Do I need a licence?
Our basic trail skills coaching clinics are run on private property so no licence is required.
