CYCLE Escapes

The Southern Coromandel has some of New Zealand's most spectacular and varied cycling areas.  Waihi has some excellent cycleways in and around town.  A 6km ride on the vintage train and you can be in the heart of the Karangahake Gorge, the perfect spot for anything from a picnic by the Owheroa falls to all day gut-buster rides up and around the mountain.
